Sport Relief 2020 goes ahead in front of a live audience in Salford despite the cancellation of a number of other events involving the gathering of large crowds due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The event raises £40 million by the end of the evening, with co-presenter Gary Lineker saying "a chunk" of the funds raised will go towards those affected by the pandemic.
