The channel was launched on 15 September 2008, in the UK, Ireland and some parts of Europe as MTVNHD (MTV-Nickelodeon HD) [1] and in Latin America by the end of 2008. [2] On 23 April 2012, MTVNHD rebranded to MTV Live HD. A standard-definition feed was also launched. [3]
