4 August – BT Sport Europe is rebranded as BT Sport 3 so that it can show the full range of coverage from BT Sport. 13 August – BT Sport launches its football scores programme BT Sport Score. 19 August – Live Premier League football is shown on Friday evenings on a semi-regular basis for the first time as part of the new broadcasting deal.
3 December – Amazon Prime shows its first set of live Premier League football matches. 2020s. 2020. 6 January – Amazon Prime Video expands its coverage of tennis when it takes over as the UK broadcaster of the WTA, showing 49 tournaments a year. English Football League. All televised EFL games are broadcast on Sky Sports, with two games (usually Championship) per weekend broadcast at 20:00 on a Friday and 12:30 on a Saturday. Other games may be additionally scheduled at different times, such as 12:00 on Sunday or, very occasionally, 20:00 on a Monday.
In time, the two channels will be brought together under the TNT Sports brand, with fans able to watch top football, rugby, tennis and Olympic sport action all under one banner.

The first change led to the merging of Andy Gray 's Boot Room format into the show; analysing the previous weekend's football matches utilising the latest computer technology combined with Gray's individual analysis.
