On 20 July 2021, eir Sport 2 closed on all providers in Ireland. On Sky, it was on channel 422. On 27 July 2021. FreeSports was added to the EPG on Sky in Ireland in its place. Alongside CBS Justice and Forces TV, FreeSports was removed from the Freeview platform on 30 June 2022.
