The Ofcom Code on Sports and Other Listed & Designated Events is a series of regulations issued originally by the Independent Television Commission (ITC) then by Ofcom when the latter assumed most of the ITC's responsibilities in 2003, which is designed to protect the availability of coverage of major sporting occasions on free-to-air terrestrial television in the United Kingdom.
These regional channels are licensed by Ofcom under the Local Digital Television Programme, [44] with That's TV currently broadcasting as a semi-national network (one which also uses the That's Christmas/That's New Year name over festive periods) with local opt-outs and a service streaming to the whole country via the VisionTV platform on channel 264 and as That's TV Gold on Freeview channel 91.
BT Sport Score is a weekly television programme which was broadcast between 2016 and 2023, on BT Sport, during the football season. The programme updated viewers on the progress of football games in the United Kingdom on Saturday afternoons, and aired between 2:45pm and just after 5pm. The show is intended as a stablemate for the Independent radio hit parade The Network Chart Show following a similar format to the BBC's Top of the Pops, but its Newcastle upon Tyne location impinges on its ability to secure live performances. It also suffers from poor ratings because it does not have a regular slot on the ITV network and is cancelled in April 1988.
