Kelly was the Chief Reporter and interviewer for British broadcaster BT Sport for a decade. He was part of the live broadcast team mainly for the channel's Champions League and Premier League coverage.
BT Sport renewed its rights in the 2021–22 season, holding rights to Australian internationals through the 2025 season (including the 2021–22 Ashes series); the rights to the BBL and Women's Big Bash League were sold separately to Sky Sports.
